Walking London one postcode at a time 
Hello, I’ve think there is an Anderson shelter at the back of my garden. I live in Catford, se6 London. There is corrugated iron coming out the ground but I’ve had my shed over this area for past 10 yrs but now shed is sloping badly and ground has sunk. How can I find out if there’s a shelter there?
Hello Stephen. I have only just found your website and have found it really interesting. From 1996 to 2011 I used to live in Hanwell. I used to get my hair cut in Tony’s the barber, the site of Marshall’s. My late father was born and brought up in West Ealing (Cranmer Ave) and when I was researching my family history (a while back) we walked the local streets finding addresses linked to his family and he was a fund of stories linked to Ealing. I now live on the Isle of Wight but have fond memories of W7, W5 and W13!! Well done on a very professional and entertainng project.
