The walks were tailored around the London Literary Festival and I learnt so much from Jill Finch, Jen Pedler, Sean Patterson, Stephen Benton and Robin Rowles who had all researched fascinating facts about their various subjects. I look forward to exploring more of London soon. Su S

This is a fascinating walk from Bayswater to Marble Arch via Paddington with lots of interest along mostly quiet streets. I would really recommend this walk which has plenty of variety so is likely to be enjoyed by everyone. Stephen was a mine of information and stories and as I was the only participant I was given lots of additional information as we walked along, not just at the scheduled stops.I will definitely go on another of Stephen’s walks – I am already a regular with Footprints but this was my first walk with Stephen.

Stephen’s walk around Westminster was absolutely fascinating. It was a great mesh of historical detail and contemporary nuggets. You will see very familiar buildings in a very different light. It drew my attention to many streets I might never have visited. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Very original and entertaining walk about the well known (and some less known for me) department stores. Ideal way to observe carefully some buildings that were in my eyes more famous for the shops than anything else. Also a good way to do some window shopping on a Sunday morning. I would warmly recommend this walk and will be interesting to try out some other walks presented by Stephen.
